P rior to joining Shah Sheth LLP, Ms. Ortiz was in-house counsel for Kalani Honua, a non-profit organization, and was also in-house counsel for various start-up companies in the technology industry. At Shah Sheth LLP, Ms. Ortiz focuses on representing parties involved in Personal Injury Law and Employment Law matters.
Additionally, Ms. Ortiz is passionate about volunteering and serving the community. She is a long-standing District Leader Volunteer with the United States Humane Society and, through this role, she actively participates in ongoing federal, state, and local legislative advocacy and reform campaigns. Ms. Ortiz also supports and volunteers at her local animal rescue center, D.R.E.A.M., and is an active member for the Orange County Women Lawyers Association.
California born and raised, Ms. Ortiz earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton. Staying local, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law where she was part of the founding chapter for the legal fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta (“P.A.D.”). After showing dedication to the legal field and the local community, she was elected P.A.D. Vice Justice.
